1993 Nissan 240SX, Jamie Holladay Photography, Gadsden, Alabama, 180SX,

This 1993 Nissan 240SX exterior has been total redone to reflect the style of a JDM 180SX Type X. The Type X Aero package was not available as an option for American buyers. It was available only for JDM 180SX automobiles. It is also referred to as Kouki because it was available for the later model 180SX's. (Kouki meaning later) The front bumper, front bumper caps, side skirts and mud guards are all new parts. The rear pieces - the rear corners and center valence - are rare finds and were purchased used. The rear deck spoiler is also a Type X spoiler. Future plans to complete the 180SX look are the front lip, front corner lights, and the rear corner glass.

From The Beginning

In October of 2004 while working at Carl Gregory Ford I ran across this 240SX as a trade. The KADE engine was only running on three cylinders when we took her in on trade. At the time I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I bought the car for only $500. I even drove it for a little while. Somewhere along the way she affectionately became known as Silvee.

After the Engine Build

After the engine build it was off DIRECTLY to Goolsby Custom & Collision and the very capable hands of Jonathan Goolsby and his crew. With more body work than anticipated, Jonathan and Tim put in countless hours to create a beautiful out come. Flawless Paint, Hub swaps, bracket fabrication, light installation and wiring, a very nice neat and clean job.
